Due to my contribution to MOONSHOT - a collection of comic books stories from AH Comics with Indigenous, First Nations, Inuit, and Métis at the helm - I have the good fortune to be included in "7 indigenous comics creators you should know about", an article from CBCBooks, the book section of  CBC/Radio-Canada's website.

Hey everyone !  I'm excited to announce that I'll be in Tulsa (again) for TWO special days in June 2015 with several of my "INC" friends !  :)

Stop by and say hi to us; stay for the workshops; and discuss Indigenous characters in comic books.  I will have copies of my book, Native Americans in Comic Books, if anyone needs to purchase one and/or have it signed.

The Indigenous Narratives Collective Presents "Let's Make Comics!"

Join Michael Sheyahshe (Caddo), Roy Boney (Cherokee) and Arigon Starr (Kickapoo/Creek) for a workshop geared toward kids and kids-at-heart. Participants will create a one-page comic. You don’t have to be a great artist to make comics, just have a desire to tell stories with words and picture. Paper and pencils will be provided. For all ages.
